How does a electric bike assists riders to gain riding experence?
There are two common ways to detect rider's action when riding on road, The pedal assisting is that the sensors are installed commonly at the right or left side of the bottom bracket, it simply detects the rotating of the spindle, and sends the signals to the controller to apply fix magnitude assisting power to the motor. The torque sensor on the other hand, is a modified bottom bracket which has sensors installed in it to detects torsional difference(strain) of the spindle, and sends the signals to the controller to apply linear magnitude ssisting power to the motor.
